A Battle to Lose Weight After Pregnancy


SO, last Tuesday, I posted about how I was starting the Jillian Michale’s 30 Day Shred program for my post pregnancy workout regime. I didn’t realized until after I posted that last week should’ve technically been Week 0 since I hadn’t done anything yet. That’s why the Week 1 #2 for this week.

Anyways, I’m not going to spend a whole lot of time on this because, as I said before, I am NOT turning this into a workout blog. There’s a good chance that I fail miserably at shedding the pounds, so I would be silly to spend hours trying to make the perfect post so you can see what a workout warrior I am not. I’m just going to give quick updates so that you guys can see if Jillian is helping me lose weight after pregnancy or not….

Post Pregnancy Workout: Week 1

My infant son will be 3 months old in one week. It’s unreal how much faster time goes by with two kids than with one. I feel like he should still only be a month old! With the time seemingly moving faster, my post pregnancy workout has somehow(totally unrelated to my laziness, lack of motivation, and extreme fatigue) been delayed this far.

My lack of exercise(though, chasing a toddler around the house probably can be considered exercise…) coupled with my inhuman eating practices that consists of a bite of my toddler’s oatmeal in the morning, a bag of chips for lunch, an energy drink, and a small plate of cold dinner(because it’s always cold by the time I can sit down) in the evening has proven to be a pretty bad formula for losing weight.  SO, here’s to change!!
